Her way into Paris nightlife led through banlieues when Christelle Oyiri sneaked out of her French-Caribbean-African family home. She is a producer, an author and artist, her mixed-media works deal with club culture and colonial alienation. Her music settles somewhere between Zouk and Dancehall, Afro-Trance and Detroit Techno.
